Range Practice
Have a specific swing mechanic in your mind that you are focusing on as you do your drills; try to focus on one piece at time. Remember to do this as you have specific targets in mind.
# Of balls @ short target (75 – 100 yards)
% Accuracy (i.e. how many balls out of 10 within 15 feet)
# Of balls @ medium target (120 – 150 yards)
% Accuracy (i.e. how many balls out of 10 within 15 feet)
# Of balls @ long target (180 – 200 yards)
% Accuracy (i.e. how many balls out of 10 within 15 feet)
# Balls with tee shots between two points on the driving range (pick two targets/poles)
% Accuracy (i.e. how many balls out of 10 within targets)

Use the 11-ball drill for an average
The above drills are for repetition of good mechanics, feel and to test if you are getting better. As you chart this information weekly, you can see if you are getting better. To introduce additional challenge, you should move yourself around the green to different lies and angles to the pin. Inquire for other drills to do as you progress with your short game practice.
Putting
There are two types of putting, for “feel” and for “fundamentals”.
Fundamental Drills
Short putts will help your mechanics as well as your confidence. To work on fundamentals, start with 2-foot putts, make 10 in a row, then move to 3 feet, then 4 feet, then 5 feet. Do this drill until you make 10 in a row from each distance. If you are unable to do it the first time out, keep trying and when you can do it, you will know that you are better at the fundamentals of putting.
When you can accomplish this goal, test yourself to see how many 3 footers you can make in a row without a miss. If it is 5 one day, each day try to get more putts, until you feel like you can never miss from 3 feet. Again this will build confidence and a great stroke.
Feel drills
Start with 8 – 10 foot putts. Place a tee about 1 foot behind the hole. Putt so that you either make it or hit past the hole, but no further than the tee.
Then move to 12 – 15 feet, but move the tee another 6 inches beyond the hole.
Then move to 20 – 25 feet, but move the tee to 2 feet beyond the hole.
Then move 30 – 40 feet, move the tee to 3 feet beyond the hole.
Keep track of how many out of 10 it takes to accomplish these goals. Move yourself to other putts on the putting green, including uphill and downhill putts.
